Is a french tip manicure in style with this season in the midwest?

I am about to take a trip from south florida there and my nail tech advised me to not go with the french tip because it's like wearing white after labor day, or like sandals in winter.Is a french tip manicure in style with this season in the midwest?

I agree with her, the french tip is sooo out of style! that hasn't been in for a few years. Go with short nails and a a dark red, or white is really in style right now (but maybe too in style for the midwest).
well i live in florida nd i wear french tip all the time but play it up with a pink tip stead of white. cute but clasy nd everyone loves it and they wear it too. so if u wnt to then go for it :)
French tip is a classic, you can wear it anytime! I have a french pedicure :)
